Office & Procurement Supervisor
Company Profile:
Our Client is a well-established IT company which specializes in developing, distributing and supporting custom innovative Internet and telecommunications products and services for the global maritime industry.
The Client has developed a new technology E-Shop and thus they are looking to expand their team with an Office & Procurement Supervisor
The ideal candidate must have a technical degree background with proven procurement track record and be able to handle daily procurement and office operations including freight, shipping and receiving, returns and transfers. The successful applicant will maintain high levels of accuracy in day-to-day operations.
Only candidates with prior experience in technology e-shops are encouraged to apply for this position.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Strategically plan and manage office Warehousing, materials handling, transportation and customer service
- Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Interact with suppliers and service providers,
- Track and monitor timely delivery of orders,
- Oversee stock and alert on the need for additional orders
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints
- Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce
- Manages and optimizes the purchasing process for the given commodities with the objective of minimizing processing costs and internal customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Able to work with all levels of staff
- Good understanding of technology products and more specifically network and VoIP
- Ability to deliver client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- BA/BS degree or equivalent in a relevant field will be considered an asset
